WRAP

WRAP Seminar I participants develop their own Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) while exploring the core concepts of wellness and recovery. WRAP plans can be created for anything—healthy lifestyle changes, building strong study habits, stress management, behavioral health, workplace wellness, trauma recovery, and more. Seminar I is facilitated using the evidence‑based WRAP model and provides a mutual learning environment where participants interact, share ideas, and build individualized plans. WRAP is for everyone.

Time: 16 Hours for up to 16 Participants

Prerequisites: None

 

WRAP Seminar II is designed for individuals who have completed Seminar I and feel inspired to bring WRAP to their communities or workplaces. This training deepens participants’ understanding of WRAP values and ethics while building the skills needed to facilitate the evidence‑based WRAP model. Attendees engage in interactive learning and practice facilitating in a mutual, supportive environment.

Time: 

  • Three 8-hour sessions for 8-10 Participants or 
  • Five 8-hour sessions for 11-16 Participants

Prerequisites: Completion of WRAP Seminar I 

 

WRAP Seminar III is the highest level of WRAP training and prepares Advanced Level Facilitators (ALFs) to certify WRAP Facilitators and lead WRAP Refreshers. This seminar emphasizes fidelity to the evidence‑based practice, including WRAP values and ethics. Activities focus on strengthening facilitation skills, developing leadership, and deepening foundational WRAP knowledge.

Time: 

  • Three 8-hour sessions for 8-10 Participants or
  • Three 8-hour sessions for 11-16 participants

Prerequisites: Completion of WRAP Seminar II within the past two years

 

WRAP Refreshers are required every two years to maintain WRAP Facilitator certification and are open to any Certified WRAP Facilitator. The Refresher provides a deeper exploration of topics such as meeting the needs of diverse populations, strengthening facilitation skills, and addressing challenges from multiple perspectives.
Time: Four 4‑hour sessions

Prerequisites: Certified WRAP Facilitator; proof of certification required

 

WRAP ALF Refresher is required every two years to maintain Advanced Level Facilitator (ALF) certification. It is open to all certified ALFs. Training activities build on the skills learned in Seminar III, with a focus on enhancing facilitation and leadership abilities and meeting the diverse needs of WRAP Seminar participants. The seminar also provides opportunities for networking with other ALFs.
Time: Four 4‑hour sessions

Prerequisites: Certified Advanced Level Facilitator; proof of ALF certification required
